Memberships

At Rotary, we understand that cultivating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture is essential to realizing our vision of a world where people unite and act to create lasting change.

We value diversity and celebrate the contributions of people of all backgrounds, across age, ethnicity, race, color, disability, learning style, religion, faith, socioeconomic status, culture, marital status, languages spoken, gender, sexual orientation, and gender identity as well as differences in ideas, thoughts, values, and beliefs.

Membership in a Rotary club offers a number
of benefits, including:

  • effecting change within the community

  • advancing business and professional contacts

  • developing leadership skills

  • gaining an understanding of — and having an impact on — international humanitarian issues

Ready to Join?

We’re looking for people who want to give back to the El Dorado Hills community. Rotarians give both time and money to support projects important to the community and the world.

How can I become a member?

We accept new members by invitation or by submitting a membership application. We encourage potential members to attend a few meetings before deciding whether Rotary and the El Dorado Hills Club are a good fit for you. Part of the process includes an interview with the Membership Committee and approval by the Board.  All applicants can anticipate a timely response.

What’s expected of me?

As a club member, you will be asked to:

  • Attend meetings and events

  • Use your professional skills and talents to make a difference

  • Pay club dues

EDH Rotary participates in the Every Rotarian Every Year initiative which asks every Rotarian to support The Rotary Foundation every year. In addition to contributing to the Annual Fund on a regular basis, members are encouraged to get involved in a Foundation project or program.

Members are encouraged to support Club fundraisers with the purchase of a ticket(s) and volunteer hours. Our annual fundraisers have been Crab & Tri-tip Feed and Wine & Dine at Town Center. The club is evaluating what fundraiser events might be held this year and next.

Note: Fees may change based on business circumstances. Fee changes must be approved by the Board.
